Thursday, January 8, 2009, the seventh period sophomore biology class worked on DNA models using K'NEX.

The students spent time learning the structure of DNA and the base-pairing rule associated with DNA. The models reinforced the fact that the DNA molecule is three dimensional with the shape of a double-helix or spiral staircase made up of nucleotides.

The students, particularly, Alex Piso,(pictured) enjoyed building their models.
